Amma Gyampo is an Economic Development, Impact Investing and Philanthropy Advisor with a focus on Gender, Climate, Circular Economy, Innovation, SME and Nonprofit Sector Strengthening in West Africa. She is a Co-Founder of the Entrepreneurship Support Organization, ScaleUp Africa with clients including the European Union, GIZ, African German Young Leaders in Business, Access Bank, UN International Trade Centre and Mastercard Foundation. Amma has 20 years’ global experience as an independent Management Consultant on strategic eGovernment, Tech, Creative (CCI), Agribusiness, and SME initiatives with 10 years in the West Africa Region advising startups, investors, foundations and donors.

She is an alum of Brunel University London, a Global Advisory Board Member of Reach For Change (Sweden), Advisory Board Member of Ghana’s Ministry of Youth specializing in Gender Mainstreaming and Job Creation policy. She is also a Founding Member of the National Advisory Board, Impact Investing Ghana. Her thought leadership has been featured on global media platforms including BBC, TEDx, Quartz Africa, Entrepreneur.com and Forbes. She recently co-produced a docufilm, “DiaspoRise” as part of an initiative to provide access to mentorship and work experience to African creatives, as well as to challenge prevailing narratives and reimagine “Africa’s Next Episode”.
